Michael Leone
Michael Leone comes to us with a diverse background in aviation. His 12,500 plus hours started in 1972, and since then he has flown most of the production single engine aircraft made in the US. He has extensive multi-engine experience and also has his single engine seaplane rating. His flying jobs have included flying sky divers, flying for a commuter airline and barnstorming in WWII aircraft. He is a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol and is a CAP check pilot. In 2007, he and his wife Rosemary found a 1949 Beech Bonanza (A35) in a dirt floor hanger in Nebraska, and after spending long hours working on the plane it received Most Outstanding Classic Beech at Oshkosh in 2011. They added a 1953 Piper Pacer to their hangar a few years later. He attended Tulsa Tech where he earned his A & P mechanic certificate. For those keeping score, he has the following qualifications: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), Certificated Flight Instructor and Instrument Instructor (CFI, CFII), Multi-engine Instructor (MEL), Seaplane pilot (ASEL) and A&P.

Tally ho! I’m Courtland Hansen, husband, father, and aviation enthusiast. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah to a family of multi-generation aviators. I spent most of my childhood in imaginary airplanes bursting through clouds. I soon relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for my education and have lived here ever since.
I have degrees in avionics, aeronautics, and business. I have worked in the aviation industry over ten years; with flight experience ranging from the eastern coastline, through the windy central plains, to the Rocky Mountains.
I look forward to sharing my passion for flying with you. Onwards and Upwards.
